Dear Comrades, we requested the CAT Bangalore to grant Stay for ongoing DPC for the promotion of SDE(T) to STS Ad hoc. The Hon'ble CAT declined to give the stay and admitted it for hearing on 1st July 2010. Don't loose heart, we will fight till we get the justice.

Blog of SNEA(I) :18th June 2010The case filed by some SDEs to stay ongoing adhoc STS DPC in Hon'ble CAT Banagalore came up for hearing on 18th June 2010 . Hon'ble CAT while declining to stay the ongoing DPC , admitted the case and posted it for 1st JULY 2010.

Blog of AIBSNLEA :18.06.2010 : Status of the Case filed against SDE (T) to DE (adhoc) DPC : The case filed against SDE (T) to DE (adhoc) DPC in the Hon'ble CAT, Bangalore by SC-ST Welfare Association and others vide OA No. 243/2010 was heard today and stay on the DPC process, as requested by the applicants, was not granted by the Hon'ble CAT. Next date of hearing is 01.07.2010.

What the intrest they are having?

When we are trying to get the justice from BSNL management why the service association are interfering and making the issues complicated among ourselves.

Will they fight for our cause?

It is our prime responsibility to get the justice through Hon'ble CAT /High Court/Supreme Court or in any other means.

The first Karnataka Circle Conference was held on 13.06.2010 at Davanagere, the conference was held successfully  in a very grand manner. The program was started with flag hoisting  by GS and the senior comrades,then  the 1st session was started with lighting of lamp by Com.K.G.Sankar, GM Davangere Sri.Jothishankar, and Com. Rathnakar DGM Belguam.  GS delivered the introductory speech, gathering  was also addressed by Sri.Jothishankar GM Davanagere,  Com.Thipesh, GS NTEA and  Com .Siddalingaiah ACS BSNLEU. After this financial statement  presented by Com. B.D.Mahadeva.

 SSAs reports called for. Afternoon session continued for interaction, the session concluded with the presidential speech.

 Open house session  started at 5PM it was  presided by Com.Ramanaik DGM, Mangalore, chief guest of the function was Sri.S.A.Ravindranath Honorable Minister of Agriculture Government of Karnataka, Com.K.G.Sankar,  Special Invitee of the function Com Amanulla Khan president of  LIC union (All India ), Com. Gundanna Circle Secretary BSNLEU, and our Vice President Com.Shankarappa were present. Gathering was addressed by distinguished  Special Invitee Com. Amanulla Khan, Honorable Minister of Agriculture Sri.S.A.Ravindranath,Com. Gundanna and Com.K.G.Sankar.

 After the open house session election process was conducted democratically, the house has given authorization to GS to select Karnataka body by unanimously, accordingly GS discussed with senior comrades he prepared the list of office bearers and submitted to approval of the house. The house has endorsed the list with full support and expressed their happiness.

CHQ body is very  happy to congratulate  the new office bearers of Karnataka Circle BASE(I), and it is very much pleased to extend thanks to all the participant, the distinguished  dignitaries  who are all participated in entire process and  all the organisers of Davanagere SSA  who have made the conference grand success. THE 1st KARNATKA CIRCLE CONFERENCE OF OUR ASSOCIATION BASE(I) was held on 13.06.2010 and it was grand sucess

ALL ARE CORDIALLY INVITED TO ATTEND THE 1st KARNATKA CIRCLE CONFERENCE OF OUR ASSOCIATION BASE(I) ON 13.06.2010 AT RANGAMAHAL,AKKAMAHADEVI ROAD, DAVANAGERE. IT IS REQUESTED TO OUR MEMBERS TO PASS THE MESSAGE TO OTHER EXECUTIVE COMRADES. PLEASE ATTEND WITHOUT FAILURE TO MAKE THE CONFERENCE GRAND SUCCESS.

After vibrant activities of our organisation, BASE(I), the service union leaders viz Com. Nagavi, CS SNEA, KTK, Com. Andeli, CS AIBSNLEA,KTK and Com. Joshi DS, BGTD, SNEA were approached our GS Com. K.G.Sankar to clarify about backlog vacancies in respect of Adhoc DEs. After the detail discussion they have been convinced that there were more than 500 numbers of backlog DEs post are there and the details were collected from us to pass on to their respective General Secretaries to resolve the matter amicablly. How ever our effort will continue till we get the justice.

It is learnt that Chandigarh CAT issued a direction to BSNL CO to carry out promotions as per Roster only, copy of the order is awaited.

27th May an emergency meet was called at Bangalore with respect to conduct First Karnataka Circle Conference at Davangere and the following resolutions were passed :

So, all the District Secretaries/ office bearers/ coordinators of Karnataka are requested to collect the amount and also give the confirmation of members who are all attending the conference before 9th June 2010 positively and also maximum attendance is requested to make the programme a grand success.
It is decided to collect Rs. 1000 per member for legal fund to take care of all the legal matters pertaining to DGM recruitments/ MT Recruitments and to approach CAT of Bangalore regarding maintenance of rosters. So Office Bearers of other Circles and District Secretaries / Office Bearers/ Coordinators of Karnataka to collect the fund and remit the same to Canara Bank S/B Acc of Halasuru Branch Bangalore -560008 Acc No 0791101201107 to meet the legal expenses.

ERODE SSA conducted organizational meeting on 29.05.2010 and formed SSA body unanimously. On this occasion they felicitated Sri.K.Karunanithi. DGM(CFA) on his retirement from the service. GS. Com .K.G.Sankar,Com.Ponnuswamy, Com.Praveenkumar AOS.,Com B.D.Mahadeva and Com.Prabhu were attended in this function. For this our Gr.C&D brothers were co-operated and understood the essentiality of forming of BASE(I) in all India level and they appreciated the move and also assured their full pledged support in future and the function was very success. The CHQ body pleased to extend thanks to all the Executives and NonExecutives’ who were participated and organized this function.

The Executive Council Meeting held on 10.04.2010 at Hotel Mourya Annex, Bangalore.

Meeting was chaired by President Com. E.Panneer Selvam, GS Com K.G.Sankar and Chief guest of the function Shri.MuraliKrishna DGM,CO,Bangalore,Members from TN Circle, Chennai Telephones, AP Circle,Office bearers from different SSAs, CHQ members and All Core Committee members from Karnatka were attended.

All members are expressed their happines over getting registration of our Association under trade union. GS appealed for strengthning of our union by means of membership drive immediately in entire India and to make mind to go for adhoc bodies in different circles in a time frame manner.
